Chapter 9. Fonts > Key Caps

Key Caps

Key Caps enables you to see and locate the characters in your fonts.

To use Key Caps

1.
Open the Key Caps icon in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder (Figure 8). The Key Caps window appears (Figure 9).

2.
Set options as desired and view results in the Key Caps window:

  • To see what the characters of a different font look like, choose the font name from the Font menu (Figure 10).

  • To see what characters look like with a modifier key (such as or ) pressed, press the modifier key (Figure 11).
