Using the Office XP Clipboard

The new, improved Clipboard in Office XP appears in a task pane and stores multiple items that you’ve copied or cut. You can choose any item in the Clipboard to be pasted into a document.

To use the Clipboard:

1.
Select an item in a program (Figure 2.38).

Press Ctrl+C twice to copy the item to the Clipboard and open the Clipboard (Figure 2.39).

3.
Position the pointer where you want to paste an item from the Clipboard.

4.
Click an item on the Clipboard to paste it into the open document.
