Inserting Symbols from the Wingdings Font

The Wingdings font contains dozens of useful and fun symbols that you can embed in a document. Word lets you insert symbols in a document automatically.

To insert a symbol:

1.
Position the insertion point at the destination for the symbol (Figure 8.3).

From the Insert menu, choose Symbol.

On the Symbols tab of the Symbol dialog box, pul down the list of Fonts and choose Wingdings (Figure 8.4).

Click the symbol you want, and click Insert.
