Sharing and Merging Workbooks

Another approach to sharing work is to maintain multiple copies of a shared workbook and track the changes in each for the same period of time. At the end of that time, you can merge the copies.

To share a workbook:

1.
From the Tools menu, choose Share Workbook.

2.
On the Editing tab in the Share Workbo k dialog box, enable changes by more than one user.

3.
On the Advanced tab, specify when you want the changes updated and how you want conflicts handled (Figure 16.35).

4.
Click OK.
