Creating a Signature

You can have Outlook add a signature, a special tag line, to each message you send.

To create a default signature:

1.
From the Tools menu, choose Options.

2.
On the Mail Format tab of the Options dialog box, click the Signatures button (Figure 39.5).

Click the New button in the Create Signature dialog box.

In the Create New Signature dialog box, enter a name for the new signature and click Next (Figure 39.7).

In the Edit Signature dialog box, type the signature that will appear at the end of your messages if this signature is selected (Figure 39.8).

Click OK.

In the Create Signature dialog box, select the new signature and click OK to return to the Mail Format tab of the Options dialog box.

On the Mail Format tab, make sure the new signature is selected (Figure 39.9).

Click OK when you have finished.
