Adding an Item to the Calendar

The quickest way to add an item to the calendar is to simply select the day and hour and type the entry. You can also use the Appointment dialog box.

To enter an appointment:

1.
Select the day and double-click the time in the calendar.

2.
Type a short description of the appointment into the text box that appears and then press Enter (Figure 42.25).

Drag the border of the appointment box to block off the time required.
