Organizing Messages

Outlook provides a quick way to organize the items in any folder. In the Organize pane, you can set rules, create folders, and change the view of the contents of the current folder.

To use the Organize pane:

1.
From the Tools menu, choose Organize.

In the Organize pane that opens above your messages, Outlook suggests a move to a folder and a rule for future messages from the same source (Figure 40.9).

2.
To move the message, click Move. To create a rule to move future messages, click Create.

3.
To close the Organize pane, click the Close button in the upper right corner.
