Using Styles

By creating a style, you can specify a preset combination of formatting options for text, such as the font, paragraph indents, and boldfacing. In a style named Heading, for example, you can specify the formatting information for paragraphs that you want to look like headings. To format a paragraph as a heading, you’d simply select the paragraph and choose the Heading style from the list of styles that you’ve created for the document (Figure 5.49).
