Copying Formulas to Adjacent Cells

Rather than retype a formula in adjacent cells, you can copy it automatically. Excel will adjust the formula as it copies it.

To copy a formula to adjacent cells:

1.
Click the cell containing the formula.

2.
Drag the Fill handle at the lower right corner of the cell across the adjacent cells to which you want to copy the formula (Figures 11.32 and 11.33).
