Using Print Layout View

If you switch to Print Layout view, you can work with the document while seeing it exactly as it will look when printed (Figure 4.18). In Print Layout view, you can see the accurate page borders, page margins, headers and footers, multiple columns, and frames that contain images.

To switch to Print Layout view:

  • Click the Print Layout View button (Figure 4.19).

    From the View menu, choose Print Layout.

Tips

  • You can turn pages in Print Layout view by clicking the Next and Previous buttons (Figure 4.20). The Select Browse Object button, between the Next and Previous buttons, lets you set the Next and Previous buttons to take you to the next or previous table, graphic, or heading rather than to the next or previous page.

  • From Print Layout view, you can choose Whole Page from the Zoom Control list to view the entire page.
