Deleting Data from a Table

To delete data from a table, you can clear the contents of a cell by selecting text and deleting it, but you can also delete cells, rows, and columns.

To delete cells from a table:

1.
Select the cels you want to delete.

2.
From the Table menu, choose Delete and then choose Cells from the Delete submenu (Figure 7.23).

In the Delete Cells dialog box, select an option to delete particular cells and move the remaining cells up or to the left or to delete entire rows or columns (Figure 7.24).

Click OK.
