Chapter 27. Creating Slide Shows > Adding Action Buttons

Adding Action Buttons

If you plan to allow your show to be viewed in an interactive way, you can add action buttons so that your viewers can control the flow and play sounds and video by clicking the buttons.

To add an action button:

1.
In Normal view, select the slide to which you want to add the button.

From the Slide Show menu, choose Action Buttons, and then choose a button from the submenu (Figure 27.16).

Position the button in on your slide (Figure 27.17).

The Action Settings dialog box is displayed.

4.
On the Mouse Click tab of the Action Settings dialog box, select an action (Figure 27.18).

5.
On the Mouse Over tab, you can select a different action that will occur when the user passes the mouse over the button.

6.
Click OK.
