Creating Custom Animations

For more control over the animation of text and objects on a slide, you can create a custom animation for individual elements on a slide. Custom animations can be created only in Normal view.

To create a custom animation:

1.
In Normal view, display the slide that requires custom animation and select an element on the slide.

From the Slide Show menu, choose Custom Animation.

or

Right-click the element on the slide and choose Custom Animation from the shortcut menu (Figure 27.6).

In the Custom Animation task pane, select an effect from the Ad Effect pull-down list (Figure 27.7).

The effect is identified by a number on the slide (Figure 27.8).

4.
Modify the effect, if necessary, by selecting it in the Custom Animation task pane (Figure 27.9).

5.
Click Play to see the effect
