Adding Transition Effects

Transition effects are the dissolves, splits, wipes, and other film-like effects that a slide show can use to bring each new slide into view. You can add effects in Normal view or in Slide Sorter view.

To add a transition effect:

1.
Click the slide for which you want to add a transition effect.

Choose Slide Transition from the Slide Show menu.

or

In Slide Sorter view, click the Transition button on the Slide Sorter toolbar (Figure 27.1).

Scroll through the transition ef ects in the Slide Transition task pane to select one and observe its effect on the slide (Figure 27.2),

4.
Choose a speed (slow, medium, or fast), sound, and Advance options (on mouse click or after a period of time) or accept the defaults.

5.
Click Play to see the effect again.

6.
Click Apply to All Slides to add this transition ef ect to all slides instead of the selected slide
