Using a Sample Presentation

If you want suggestions about the content of your presentation and how it might be organized, PowerPoint offers a set of content templates, which provide sample slides with sample text and charts.

To start with a sample presentation:

1.
From the File menu, choose New.

or

Press Ctrl+N.

Click General Templates in the New Presentation task pane to choose from the Templates dialog box.

3.
Select a presentation from the Presentations tab of the Templates dialog box (Figure 19.12).

Click OK.

A new presentation opens in Normal view with the Outline pane displayed (Figure 19.13). Each slide contains suggestions for text. You can choose a different layout for any slide from the Slide Layout task pane.
