Making Selections in Dialog Boxes

Dialog boxes offer a group of related options. You can change one or more settings in a dialog box and then click OK to implement the changes.

To make selections in a dialog box:

  • Click a check box or an option button (Figure 1.13).

    or

    Click the arrows next to a numeric entry to increase or decrease the value (Figure 1.14).

    or

    Click the arrow button next to a drop-down list entry to open the list and then click an item in the list (Figure 1.14).

    or

    Type an entry in a text box or double-click an entry and type replacement text (Figure 1.14).
