Using Smart Tags

Smart tags appear when they recognize that they can assist you in completing a task in Office XP, such as inserting an address for an Outlook contact into a Word letter.

Using Smart Tags:

1.
In Word, move the mouse pointer to an item that is underlined with a series of purple dots (Figure 1.30).

In Excel, click a cell that contains a green mark in the upper left corner (Figure 1.31).

Click the smart tag icon to see a list of options (Figure 1.32).

Choose an option on the smart tag list (Figures 1.33 and 1.34).
