Starting a Data Access Page Using the Page Wizard

The Page Wizard leads you through the steps for designing a page.

To start a data access page using the Page Wizard:

1.
On the Pages tab of the Database window, click the New button.

In the New Data Access Page dialog box, select Page Wizard (Figure 36.8).

Click OK.

On the first page of the Page Wizard, select the table or query on which the report will be based, select the fields to display, and click Next (Figure 36.9).

Select grouping options if you want this page to be read-only, and click Next (Figure 36.10).

Select sort orders, if required, and click Next (Figure 36.11).

On the last page of the Page Wizard, type a name for the report or accept the default, choose whether you want to view the report or modify the design, check the Theme check box if you want to apply a theme immediately, and click Finish (Figure 36.12).

The new data access page is displayed with the default theme. If you chose to apply a theme now in the last page of the Page Wizard, the Theme dialog box is open (Figure 36.13).

8.
Select a theme and save the new design.

The design appears on the new page (Figure 36.14).
