Key Caps

Key Caps enables you to see what the characters in your fonts are and where they are located on your keyboard.

To use Key Caps

1.
Choose Apple menu > Key Caps (Figure 1). The Key Caps window appears (Figure 8).

To see what characters look like with various modifier keys pressed (such as , , or ), press the modifier key. The Key Caps characters change (Figure 9).

To see what the characters of a different font look like, choose the font name from the Fonts menu (Figure 10). The Key Caps characters change (Figure 11).
