Customizing Sherlock

There are a number of things you can do to customize the way Sherlock works for you. This section explores some of the most useful ones.

To add a folder to the Files channel

1.
Click the Files channel button at the top of the Sherlock window (Figure 5) or press to display Sherlock's Files channel (Figure 1).

Choose Find > Add Folder (Figure 44).

Use the Open dialog sheet that appears to select the folder you want to add (Figure 45).

4.
Click Add. The folder is added to Sherlock's list of disks and folders (Figure 46), and if automatic indexing is enabled, Sherlock indexes the folder.
