Using Windows Messenger to Fire Off Instant Messages 272 Figure 23.3. This dialog box shows up if someone adds you to her contacts list. If someone on your contacts list is behaving badly, tell Windows Messenger to prevent them from sending you messages or even seeing your online status. To do that, select Tools, Options. In the Options dialog box, display the Privacy tab, highlight the contact's name in the My Allow List, and click Block. This tosses the boor into the purgatory of the My Block List. Windows Wisdom
