Revamping the Start Menu and Taskbar 295 If you want to give an icon a permanent place in the Start menu's programs section, click Start to open the Start menu, right-click the icon, and then click Pin to Start menu. Windows XP moves the icon up into the top part of the menu and displays the icon title in bold. (Note that you can do this with any icon on the All Pro- grams menus, as well.) If you change your mind about the icon, you can return it to normal by right-clicking it and then clicking Unpin from Start menu. If you want to remove a single program icon from the Start menu, click Start to open the Start menu, right-click the icon, and then click Remove from This List. The Advanced tab of the Customize Start Menu dialog box is shown in Figure 25.1.
