If you run an organization with several hundred users, how can you make sure they all have the same items in their Dock? What about their experience browsing the network? Printers? The Finder interface? In previous lessons you learned management techniques involving the user name, password, and home folder. There are many other aspects to user account management and it is important to understand how these various aspects interact with each other. When applying other types of management to your user and group accounts, consider that there is also a third type of management—computer list accounts—to add to your options. Careful planning will reveal the best way to implement your management, whether it be based on user accounts, group accounts, computer list accounts, or a combination of all three.
