Creating Hyperlinks

A hyperlink is a link from one location or document to another. When the user clicks a hyperlink, the destination document appears. You are probably familiar with hyperlinks on Web pages from using the Internet. You can also create hyperlinks on PowerPoint slides. These hyperlinks can point to other slides in the presentation, to e-mail addresses, or to other files stored anywhere on a network or on the Internet.

A hyperlink can be attached to any object, including any amount of text or a graphic object. For example, the user could click on underlined text as a hyperlink, or click on a graphic that is a hyperlink.
