Part II: Working with Formulas and Large... > Working with Larger Workbooks

Chapter 8. Working with Larger Workbooks

A single Excel file can have multiple worksheets—up to 256—in a single file. And since each worksheet has 256 columns and 65,536 rows, that’s a potential for 4,294,967,296 cells of information in a single Excel file! Technically, Excel calls files with multiple sheets workbooks.

In this chapter, you’ll learn how to:

  • Move between worksheets

  • Insert and name a worksheet

  • Hide a worksheet

  • Delete a worksheet

  • Create a reference to another worksheet

  • Link to other workbooks
