Inserting Word Data into Excel

If you created information in Word, or even data in a Word table that you later think would be better if it were in an Excel spreadsheet, you can easily convert the Word document to Excel. You use the Windows clipboard to copy the text from one program to another.

Inserting Paragraphs

If you copy regular Word paragraph text into an Excel worksheet, Excel will place each paragraph in a single cell.
