Insert 7 As word processing software evolves, documents consisting only of text are becom- ing rare. Word's Insert menu contains commands for adding the extra elements that make up many contemporary documents. The commands are primarily used to add special Word objects, such as page breaks, fields, comments, footnotes, and drawing objects.
