Creating Hypertext Links

You're already used to using web page links, and you know that some web pages use links successfully in helping you navigate a document while others use links that seem to make little sense. The same concepts that pertain to creating links in web pages also apply to WordPerfect documents. In a nutshell, you want the reader to be able to jump from one place to another in your document, following logical links, and without getting lost.

The first step in creating a nonlinear document is to link sections so that the reader can jump from where they are to a target destination. You do this by creating bookmarks, which are like targets where you want to land, and then by creating hyperlinks, which enable you to jump from where you are to a target bookmark.
