Entering Data

Data is entered into individual cells. The currently selected cell is the active cell, so you can enter or edit the data in it.

A cell address is a combination of the row number and column letter. For example, the cell in the top-left corner of the notebook is in column A, on row 1, so the cell address would be A1. The input line (see Figure A.2) displays the cell address for the currently selected cell(s).
