Searching Your Notes

One of the key advantages to keeping your notes in OneNote is that you can search the pages and sections in your notebook and find the notes that contain keywords, names, or phrases. You can even search the notes you handwrite on a Tablet PC.

Search Your Notes

Type the text you're looking for in the Find box.

Click the green arrow to begin the search.

Click the left or right arrow to flip through the notes that match your search criteria.

Click View List to view a list of all pages that match your search criteria.

Optionally, click the arrow at the bottom of the task pane to change the scope of your search, such as searching only a portion of your notes.
