Choosing the Right Tablet PC

If you decide to purchase a Tablet PC, the following are some of the basic things to look out for:

Design. There are two basic designs: a slate or a convertible. The slate has a slimmer profile and is lighter weight, and the keyboard is a separate but attachable piece. This design is generally preferred by professionals working in a clinical environment who spend a lot of time on the move and who usually use the mouse and pen more than the keyboard. The convertible has a built-in keyboard and is generally preferred by professionals who spend more time in the office than in the clinic.
