Part: VI Appendixes > Adjusting Column Width and Row Height

Adjusting Column Width and Row Height

It often happens that the contents of a cell exceed the size of the cell. In most cases, the width of the column is the problem—you have a long title, for example, and the next column chops it off. To display the full text, you need to expand the column width so that the text fits.

Any changes to column width and row height apply to every cell within that column or row. In either case, you can use the mouse to click and drag a row or column border to adjust the width and height. You also can enter precise measurements in a dialog box. Remember, you can always use Undo to reverse your last action.
