Introduction

If you have something that needs to be said in a public forum, it has never been easier to do so. Microsoft Office Word 2003 can support your efforts by converting your documents into Web pages using HTML, the programming language used by the Web, and also by providing you with numerous Web publishing tools that can be used independently, or in conjunction with other Office programs like Microsoft FrontPage.

You can add hyperlinks (graphic objects or text you click to jump to other documents and intranet or Internet pages) to your documents. Word makes it easy to create a Web page without learning HTML, the coding system used to format Web pages. In addition, you can save any document as a Web page to your hard drive just as you would save a document. You can also preview how your document will look as a Web page in Word or in your browser. Without ever leaving Word, you can turn a document into a Web page.
