Chapter 7. Inserting Graphics and Relate... > Applying WordArt Text Effects

Applying WordArt Text Effects

You can apply a number of text effects to your WordArt objects to change letter heights, justification, and spacing. The effect of some of the adjustments you make will be more pronounced for certain WordArt styles than for others. Some of these effects will make the text unreadable for certain styles, so apply them carefully. Other effects—such as making uppercase and lower-case characters the same height—add an interesting dimension to the text.

Make All Letters the Same Height

Click the WordArt object.

Click the WordArt Same Letter Heights button on the WordArt toolbar.

Click a blank area of the worksheet to deselect the WordArt object.
