Inserting Pictures

Now then, on to the fun stuff—inserting pictures into your documents! Word is very flexible and can incorporate graphics from many different sources. You have access to a large collection of clip art, both on the Office 2003 CD and online at the Microsoft Office Online site. You also can insert scanned images, graphics from the Internet, digital photographs, and files in a variety of formats.

Inserting Clip Art

The easiest place to start is with Word’s own clip art images. You can use the techniques that you learn here to manipulate other graphic elements as well.
