Chapter 8. Tasks > Handling Recurring Tasks

Handling Recurring Tasks

You learned about recurrences in Chapter 7 when you learned how to create recurring appointments. Recurring tasks are similar to recurring appointments. Recurring tasks are scheduled at regular intervals: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. An example of a recurring monthly task is paying a utility or phone bill every month.

Unlike recurring appointments, recurring tasks are visible only one at a time. All instances of a recurring appointment are shown in the calendar, but only one instance of a recurring task is shown in the Tasks folder or the TaskPad in the calendar at a time. Recurring tasks can be assigned to other people the same way individual tasks are assigned to other people.
