Acknowledgments

A book like this is a team effort, and even though only the author's name is on the cover, everyone on the team makes valuable contributions. I'd like to thank the editors at Que for all their work on the book, which I appreciate more than I can ever express. Stephanie McComb has been a patient acquisitions editor, guiding the book from beginning to end; Laura Norman is the best development editor I've worked with; Sheila Schroeder, the project editor, and Chuck Hutchinson, the copy editor, and everyone else at Que have been great to work with. The technical editors, Milly Staples and Vince Averello, both Outlook MVPs, are responsible for everything that's correct in the book and nothing that's incorrect.

I constantly learn more about Outlook from my fellow MVPs Sue Mosher, Diane Poremsky, Randy Byrne, Jessie Louise McClennan, Vince Averello, Russ Valentine, Patricia Cardoza, Ben Schorr, Steve Moede, Milly Staples, Dmitry Streblechenko, Robert Crayk, Jay Harlow, Hollis Paul, Bill Rodgers, Jocelyn Fiorello, Nikki Peterson, Patrick Reed, Thomas Wenzl, and Peter Raddatz. There is no better group of MVPs and people, and I appreciate being included in their company.

The Outlook team at Microsoft led by Marc Olsen and Jensen Harris and including Jeff Stephenson and many others is outstanding, and the best and most open product group I've ever worked with. The Outlook MVP Leads John Eddy and Brandon Hoff are always helpful, as are Bill Jacob and Folke Kiesler of PSS. Finally, as always, Ronna Pinkerton has been our guiding light and deserves the description “everyone loves Ronna.”
