Changing Your User Information

Word stores some information about you and uses that information when you make changes to a document, create letters, address envelopes, and do a few other tasks. For example, if you turn on the Track Changes feature and add some comments or otherwise edit a document, Word marks those edits with your name so other people can see who made the edits.

Word stores your name, initials, and mailing address. Follow these steps to change this information:
