Adding or Removing Slide Numbers and Dates

Earlier in this chapter, in the section “Starting a Presentation by Using the AutoContent Wizard,” you learned how to use the wizard to add to each slide a slide number and the date the presentation was last modified. You can also add and remove these features manually. To add slide numbers and dates to all slides or remove them from all slides, you select View, Header and Footer to display the Header and Footer dialog box, which is shown in Figure 23.10.
