Setting Default File Location

By default, PowerPoint saves files in your My Documents folder. You might want to change this setting in the Options dialog box if you always need to save your files to a network drive, for example. To do so, you select Tools, Options to open the Options dialog box and then click the Save tab, as shown in Figure 26.1. Then you set the Default File Location setting to the desired location and click OK to save your changes.
