Undoing Changes

Unless you’re the kind of person who doesn’t have erasers on your pencils, sooner or later you’re going to say, “Whoops! I didn’t want to do that!” Maybe you accidentally deleted a whole paragraph, cut an image you didn’t want to cut, or simply changed your mind about an edit. No problem! Office lets you undo changes to your heart’s content.

You can find an Undo command in each Office application’s Edit menu. In some cases the command is slightly different, such as Undo Typing. In any case, choosing Edit, Undo undoes the last edit that you made to the document. You can also press Ctrl+Z to undo changes; Ctrl+Z is the shortcut key for Edit, Undo.
