Finding a Contact

If you look at the Address Cards and Detailed Address Cards views of the Contacts folder, you’ll see a navigation tab at the right edge of the view. You can click a letter on this tab to jump to the section of the folder that contains contacts that start with that letter.

You also have another way to locate contacts. You can click in the Find a Contact text box in the toolbar (see Figure 4.8), type some or all of the contact’s name, and press Enter. If there is only one match, Outlook opens the contact’s form. If there are multiple matches, Outlook displays the Choose Contact dialog box, from which you select a contact and click OK to open its form.
