Coloring Certain Types of Events

The calendar provides at-a-glance access to your appointments and other events by displaying them in the calendar. Wouldn’t it be great if you could make certain types of events appear in a particular color to make them stand out? Well, you can! Even better, it’s easy to do. You just have to apply a label to the event. You can also change label color or even use automatic formatting to color items automatically.

Applying Labels to Events

A label is a combination of a color and a description that identifies a particular type of event. Outlook provides 10 different labels that you can use as they are or change to suit your needs. Follow these steps to color an event in the Calendar folder:
