Chapter 23. Quickly Creating a Basic Slide Show

In this chapter

  • Creating a quick, basic slide show

  • Starting a presentation by using the AutoContent Wizard

  • Switching slide orientation between portrait and landscape

  • Saving a presentation

  • Controlling look and feel by using a slide master

  • Adding and removing slide numbers and dates

PowerPoint is used for creating presentations or slide shows. You can make PowerPoint presentations very complex, but all presentations boil down to a series of slides. The slides can contain text, but they can also contain graphics and pictures, animation, videos, and other advanced features. These advanced features are covered in later chapters in Part V, “Creating Presentations in PowerPoint.”
