Using Zoom In and Zoom Out

I work in front of a computer several hours a day, and much of that time is spent in Word. When I hit 40, I suddenly needed glasses. Age is a big factor, but part of the problem I’m sure is the time I spent squinting at the computer screen. Well, you can stop squinting! Just zoom the display.

The Standard toolbar includes a Zoom combo box that lets you either select or type a zoom percentage. If the text onscreen is too small for you to read comfortably, just select a larger zoom factor. You can also choose View, Zoom to open the Zoom dialog box, which is shown in Figure 9.10.
