Importing Data from Other Sources

Building a database can be very time-consuming, especially if you have to enter every record yourself. You can sometimes ease that burden by importing data from other applications. Access supports data import from a wide variety of applications, including Excel, other database applications, Outlook and Exchange Server, HTML documents, and other sources. The following sections focus on two: Outlook and other Access databases.
