Searching for and Selecting Data by Using Queries

Using a filter is one way to filter a table, but using a query is a much better option when you need to do more than just view records that fit your search conditions. For example, you might want to purge the records for all employees no longer working for the company. In this case, you would create a query for records where the Current field is equal to No and then extract those records to a separate database.
