Sorting and Filtering Records

Sometimes you might need to sort the records in a database. For example, you might want to view the Employees table sorted by last name. Or you might want to view only employees who are currently employed. You can use Access’s sort and filter features for these tasks.

Tip

You can do far more with buttons than just display forms. You can read in the Help documentation about events and event procedures to learn how to add program code to buttons.
