Chapter 28. Beyond the Basics > Using Forms for Data Entry and Viewing

Using Forms for Data Entry and Viewing

It certainly is easy to add records in Datasheet view, particularly in a table that contains few fields. As the number of fields increases, however, Datasheet view becomes less and less desirable as the main means for entering data in a database.

The solution is to create forms to enter and view data. Forms (see Figure 28.1) enable you to put data into a logical format and group related fields. You can also add instructions, labels, and other information on a form to help the user understand the purpose or required format for a particular field or fields.
