Chapter 5. All Your Email in One Handy S... > Using Bcc and Other Message Options

Using Bcc and Other Message Options

Outlook doesn’t show the Bcc field on its message form, but you can add it easily. With the message form open, you choose View, Bcc Field. People listed in the Bcc field receive the message, but their addresses are not seen by other recipients. You should use Bcc when you want to send a message to multiple recipients but you don’t want them to know who else is receiving the message or you don’t want them to see each others’ addresses.

You can set several other options for a message before you send it. Because this is a beginner’s guide, this book doesn’t cover them in detail. However, I’ll tell you where to find them so you can experiment on your own.
